The Country House Resort is located on 27 wooded acres with a rolling bluff down to 1, 100 feet of Sister Bay shoreline. Much of the beauty of Door County, flowers, trees, birds, animals, limestone bluffs, and the waters of the bay of Green Bay can be experienced right on the resort property without any hassle, traffic or congestion.

Some activities are more passive:

• Smell the flowers and if you have any questions, ask Donn, our master gardener
• Listen to the fountains
• View the waters, fountains & gardens from your private balcony or sun deck and watch a sunset from a bench on the nature trail
• Read a book while enjoying the quiet and beauty and resting on one of the many chairs and benches situated around the property
• Set up your easel and paint a Door County landscape (we've seen many guests do this)
• Watch a movie on your in-room DVD/CD/VCR
• Snuggle by your in-room fire place (available in all 9 suites) or by the lounge fireplace
• Relax in your in-room two-person whirlpool (available in all 9 suites & 7 Specialty Rooms)
• Invigorate yourself in your in-room two-person body shower (available in all 7 Specialty Rooms)

Some activities are more active:

Soak in the 14' diameter outdoor whirlpool and gaze at the stars
Swim in the outdoor heated (82° F) pool or sun bathe
Play tennis on our Pro Bounce (synthetic cushion) tennis court or practice with our tennis backboard
Row one of our complimentary row boats
Fish from our dock or with one of our boats (brown trout-spring, small mouth bass-summer, etc.)
Play horse shoes, shuffle board, croquet, badminton or volley ball
Bike our complimentary bikes (6 speed or regular) on the Sister Bay bike path and town roads
Walk our shoreline nature trail, rest at one of our benches and enjoy the view or walk to town
Snowshoe around the property and enjoy the view.
